Consumers Choose Banks Based on Brand Strength & Branch Location

One-third of consumers say having access to a local branch is an essential attribute of their primary financial institution 

When asked what made them choose a primary bank, consumers say these attributes were most important:

37% brand recognition

33% having access to a local branch

24% their family or friends using the bank

22% good benefits

21% a good digital experience
